# Rack Of Ages Win 8-Ball Teams Title and $112,000 at Grand Finals

*Rack Of Ages beat Amigos 25-17 in an overnight final at Harrah's Cherokee — nearly 12 hours at the table for the biggest cheque in league pool history.*

Rack Of Ages are the 8-Ball Teams champions at the Ultimate Pool USA Grand Finals, beating Amigos 25-17 in an overnight final at Harrah's Cherokee that paid the biggest winners' cheque in league pool history — $112,000.

The title match broke off at 8:13 p.m. ET Saturday and ran through the night; the official DigitalPool bracket timestamps the finish at 12:55 UTC Sunday, nearly 12 hours later. Rack Of Ages had control of the scoreboard from the early exchanges and never surrendered it. Amigos settle for the $50,000 runners-up prize.

## How the finalists got there

Amigos arrived as the bracket's wrecking crew — a 37-5 win over Lotomofos, then 44-13 against San Antonio's Drunken Masters in Friday's quarterfinal, the widest margin of the last eight. Their semifinal was the week's tightest: a 17-16 escape against How You Like Me Now settled Saturday afternoon.

Rack Of Ages' route included the draw's loudest result — a 25-19 knockout win over Armstrong All-Stars, who lifted the 10-Ball Teams trophy barely a day earlier — followed by a 24-12 quarterfinal over Lucky Break Birmingham and a 31-12 semifinal against Big Time Rockets.

## The payout

The champion collects $112,000 — billed by Ultimate Pool USA as the biggest top prize in league pool history — from a $282,000 purse paying down to the last 32. Amigos take $50,000; beaten semifinalists How You Like Me Now and Big Time Rockets bank $20,000 apiece, and Friday's quarterfinalists leave with $10,000 each.

## What it closes

Rack Of Ages' win crowns the last league team champion of Grand Finals week, after husband and wife Tyler Styer and Margaret Fefilova-Styer took the National Pairs and Armstrong All-Stars the 10-Ball Teams. Sunday still has the Mixed Pairs final and all three opens to settle; the full league picture is in the [day-seven results snapshot](https://ncuemedia.com/ultimate-pool-usa-grand-finals-day-7-results-snapshot).
