# Spanish Open: Vogel and Menn Set Up All-German Final in Gandia

*Felix Vogel ends home hope Iker Andoni Echeverria's run 11-5; Luca Menn rallies from 8-6 down to beat Mika van Berkel 11-9 — an all-German final at 20:00 local.*

GANDIA, Spain — The Revora Spanish Open will crown a German men's champion on Sunday night. Felix Vogel and Luca Menn won their semi-finals to set up an all-German, race-to-11 final at 20:00 local.

## Semi-final results (race to 11)

- **Felix Vogel (GER) 11-5 Iker Andoni Echeverria (ESP)**
- **Luca Menn (GER) 11-9 Mika van Berkel (NED)**

## Vogel ends the home run

Echeverria came into the afternoon as the story of the week — a player who needed Saturday's losers' qualification just to reach the last 32, then toppled Euro Tour leader Wojciech Szewczyk 11-7 in the [quarter-finals](/revora-spanish-open-quarter-finals-echeverria-vogel-menn-van-berkel) to carry the home flag into the last four.

Vogel never gave the run a chance to grow. The German, who had survived an 11-10 hill-hill quarter-final against the previously untouchable Mieszko Fortunski only hours earlier, built an 8-3 cushion and closed the match out 11-5.

## Menn rallies past Van Berkel

The evening semi-final swung late. Van Berkel — the man who stopped giant-killer Fabio Rizzi 11-7 in the quarters — led 8-6 and looked bound for the championship match before Menn, last year's runner-up at this same venue, won five of the last six racks to take it 11-9.

It is a second straight final in Gandia for Menn, who lost the 2025 title match here to Oliver Szolnoki, and another step in a ruthless week for Vogel: Fortunski had conceded just six racks across three Saturday wins before the German edged him on the hill this morning.

## An all-German final, and the women's decider

Vogel meets Menn at 20:00 local in a race to 11 — a final that guarantees Germany the men's title either way.

The women's final shares the evening card (race to 9): Ina Kaplan, who earlier ended top seed Pia Filler's week, beat Oliwia Zalewska 9-2 and meets Jiang Teng, a 9-7 winner over Spain's Maria-Teresa Ropero.
